Summertime conjures many wonderful images. Lemonade stands and fireflies. Swimming pools and sleepovers.

Common Sense Media, a non-profit advocacy organization that rates media for children (books, movies, apps and more), has a wonderful list of what to watch this summer when the kids are staying at your house. The list includes ratings like what age range they are for and the quality of the movie. It doesn’t, however, mention if the kids will actually get any sleep.

Here’s to popcorn and pals this summer:

Preschoolers ages 2-4

Little kids ages 5-7

Big kids ages 8-9

Tweens ages 10-12

Teens 13 and up
