The High Roller, a 550-foot-tall observation wheel on the Las Vegas Strip, opened to the public on Monday. Sitting across from Caesars Palace, it is the world’s tallest observational wheel, overtaking the Singapore Flyer (which is about 541 feet) — though the New York Wheel, scheduled to open on Staten Island in 2016, will be 630 feet. Here is what it looks like from the outside:
