(Google Maps)

One person was injured in a shooting at a Veterans Health Administration facility in Dayton, Ohio, on Monday afternoon.

The shooting occurred in the basement of the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center’s main facility at about noon, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs. The person who was injured, an employee, has non-life-threatening injuries.

A suspected shooter has been taken into custody. Authorities searched every room of the center, closing the facility to the public, but didn’t find any additional suspects.

The “all clear” was given at the facility at around 2:45 p.m. Monday, the center said. All regularly scheduled appointments have been canceled for the remainder of the day.
