Marijuana officially — well, legally — is now for sale in the state of Washington. Legal sales began Tuesday, two years after voters approved the sale of marijuana. The photo above shows Pete Holmes, the Seattle city attorney, purchasing four grams of OG Pearl (for $80). “I’m here to mark this date by personally exercising this amazing new freedom,” Holmes said. (When legal marijuana sales started in Colorado this year, Denver’s city attorney opted not to make such a purchase.)
