CARNEGIE, Pa. -- About two-dozen protesters are gathered down the road from where Paul Ryan is set to make remarks this morning.

And from their signs, it's clear that Democrats are seeking to tie Ryan to the continued Todd Akin controversy: one protester held a sign reading, "Ryan and Akin Agree: Only Some Rapes Count."

More on Democrats' attempts to tie Ryan to Akin:

In addition to the handful of protesters awaiting him at his Pittsburgh area speech, an airplane sponsored by and bearing the banner “Ryan + Akin Voted to Redefine Rape” is expected to greet him later Tuesday when he arrives in West Chester, Pa., for a rally at the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center.
