Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval made his debut on the national stage, playing up his personal story and labeling President Obama as “a president who abandoned hope and embraced only blame.”

Sandoval, one of two Hispanic governors elected in 2010, noted that many Hispanics are experiencing tough times – particularly in Nevada, which has the highest unemployment rate in the country.

“I’ve seen Hispanic business owners and people from families not unlike my own struggle in this economy,” Sandoval. “Make no mistake, the current administration’s failed experiment with big government gets in the way of economic recovery.”
