Michael Dukakis, the Democratic presidential nominee in 1988 and a former Massachusetts governor, said today in a brief interview with The Post that Mitt Romney's job creation record in the Bay State is a major reason why he should not be elected president.
"We saw Mitt Romney in action in Massachusetts. We were 47th out of 50 when it came to job creation under Romney," Dukakis said. "One of the worst in the country. And to trust the economic future of this country to a guy with that kind of record makes no sense to me at all."
