The hotels in Charlotte are becoming a story in their own right. Some guests are reportedly dealing with bedbugs, parking lot prostitution and overall accommodations that are seedier than pundits might prefer.

The truth is that Charlotte has far fewer hotel rooms than many larger metropolitan areas, meaning many attendees and journalists are staying at properties that are far away from the convention site. (Part of The Washington Post's team is staying in Concord, about 30 miles away).

If you're attending the Democratic National Convention and staying at a hotel that's far away from the convention center, we want to hear from you. Send a tweet to @PostPolitics and let us know how far your daily commute is.
