Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius took the unusual step Tuesday of praising her party’s opponent in the presidential election.

Sebelius said Mitt Romney’s health care law, which was seen as a precursor to Obamacare, was the envy of his fellow governors – of which she was one in Kansas.

“Many of us watched in amazement – envy even – as he passed a universal health care law in his state,” Sebelius said. “Republicans may see Romneycare as a scarlet letter, but for us Democrats, Obamacare is a badge of honor.”
