Biden, relater in chief

Advance excerpts show that Vice President Joe Biden, like President Obama, will speak tonight about two "fundamentally different visions" for the future of the country.

“The two men seeking to lead this country over the next four years have fundamentally different visions, and a completely different value set," he plans to say.

Biden will also speak to the American character: "...[T]he same grit, the same determination, the same courage, that has always defined what it’s meant to be an American."

Jason Horowitz profiled Biden back in March, describing how the VP was digging into his genealogical roots to better help Obama.

She's planning to head Sunday to Flint, Mich., where a cost-saving decision led to poisonous levels of lead in the water of the poor, heavily black, rust-belt city.
