Americans for Job Security, a little-known non-profit group, has entered the presidential race with a splash --  an ad buy of over $8 million in six states.

Until now, the group has mostly been involved in down-ballot races. While AJS describes itself as an "independent, bi-partisan, pro-business issue advocacy organization," the group is run by the former executive director of the New Hampshire Republican Party and has ties to various GOP outside groups.

Here's the breakdown, according to a Republican media buyer. CO: $1,018,064
FL: $2,250,779
IA: $494,120
OH: $1,821,198
NC: $1,192,077
VA: $1,896,324
Total: $8,672,562
