Math is increasingly a dilemma for the Romney-Ryan team. They want to cut the deficit, but they don't want to cut defense, they don't want to cut entitlements for anybody under 55 and they don't want to raise taxes for anybody. But that's pretty much the ballgame as far as the federal budget goes over the next 10 years. House Appropriations chairman Hal Rogers (R-Ky.) recently said we've hit the bottom of the barrel on domestic spending. There aren't many targets left.
