Vice President Joe Biden, who has continued to campaign as President Obama deals with Hurricane Sandy, has cancelled events in Wooster and Gambier, Ohio scheduled for Tuesday and an event in Scranton, Pa. scheduled for Thursday.
"This change in schedule is being taken out of an abundance of caution to ensure that all local law enforcement and emergency management resources can stay focused on ensuring the safety of people who might be impacted by the storm," the campaign said in a statement.
Biden campaigned Monday in Youngstown, Ohio with former president Bill Clinton.
