Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren (D) now wants to hold a fourth and final debate with Sen. Scott Brown (R).
Having said Monday that a debate scheduled for Tuesday night should be canceled, Warren is now proposing a debate for Thursday evening. Brown pulled out of the debate, citing Hurricane Sandy.
"Elizabeth believes that the final televised debate should occur, and we have contacted the debate organizers and let them know she would be available to participate on Thursday evening," Warren campaign manager Mindy Myers said in a statement.
Asked Tuesday by the Boston Globe if he was open to a rescheduled debate, Brown demurred.
“We’ve already had three debates,” he said. “There’s only a few days left and we have a very, very busy schedule.”
