President Obama and Mitt Romney have laid out the choice in this election in dueling op-eds on Both pieces read like closing arguments, hitting lines familiar from recent stump speeches.

"The folks at the very top don't need another champion in Washington," Obama writes. "The people who need a champion in Washington are the Americans whose letters I read at night; the men and women I meet on the trail every day."

Romney counters, "America is a land of opportunity. But lately, for too many Americans, opportunity has not exactly come knocking ... I am offering real change and a real choice."

The Republican candidate will deliver his "closing argument" speech today in Wisconsin.
