A Pennsylvania judge ordered elections officials at a Philadelphia polling station to cover a President Obama mural painted on a wall behind voting booths, according to a Philadelphia CBS affiliate and various conservative-leaning news sites.
The mural depicts Obama holding a microphone and gazing contemplatively toward the ground. It contains an Obama quote and the words "hope" and "change," representing the president's 2008 campaign slogans.
Republicans discovered the mural at Ben Franklin Elementary school in Northeast Philadelphia. It appeared to violate state election law that prohibits soliciting votes at any polling place.
