When Google co-founder Sergey Brin was born in the former Soviet Union in 1973, democracy was a distant ocean away. So if anyone can appreciate the beauty of liberty's ballot, it's the immigrant entrepreneur.

Today, Brin's company urges voters to exercise their democratic right with a ballot-box Doodle on its home page. The Election Day illustration guides viewers to Google's Voter Information page, which provides polling-place and ballot information.

And as a bipartisan Doodle, the nearly 50 ballots that spell out "Google" are checked both blue and red. (And yes, to be fair, there are 23 ballots of each color.)
