President Obama will sit down for a series of interviews with reporters from local news stations in Philadelphia, Miami, Minneapolis and Sacramento on Thursday afternoon, the White House announced.
The interviews will be embargoed until 5 p.m., Eastern. The president is pushing his "fiscal cliff" plan in the face of stalled negotiations with the congressional GOP members, part of a PR push that involves asking supporters around the country to call their Republican lawmakers.
