McCain: ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ wrong on torture

U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said he was sickened by the the blockbuster film Zero Dark Thirty's portrayal of waterboarding as helping the United States locate Osama Bin Laden.

McCain, who was a prisoner of war in Vietnam and opposes waterboarding, has argued before that harsh interrogation techniques used by the CIA on senior al-Qaeda operative Khalid Sheikh Mohammed did not yield information that helped locate bin Laden. He told the AP that he got a copy of the movie Monday and was disappointed by what he saw.
