Officials are working to avoid a ticket fiasco at next month's presidential inauguration like the one that left thousands of frustrated ticket holders shut out of the festivities when Barack Obama was inaugurated in 2009.

There will be more signs, more volunteers, social media tracking and back -p generators, they say. The Third Street tunnel, aka the "Purple Tunnel of Doom," will be closed. And while tickets will be color-coded again, none of them will be purple.
