sequesterblameA new Washington Post-Pew poll finds more Americans would blame congressional Republicans than President Obama, 45-32 percent, if the sequester cuts aren't halted before Friday's deadline.

While 60 percent said the cuts would have a major effect on the nation's economy, only 30 percent of Americans thought the cuts would have a major impact on their personal finances, and 40 percent said it would have a minor effect on them. The Fix noted that the majority of the pubic isn't paying close attention to the sequester.
