South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) says in a new interview that she may not seek reelection in 2014.

“If we look and it’s too much on the family, I could absolutely see [not running again],” she told the Florence Morning News.

Haley's husband is currently deployed to Afghanistan -- having just returned there after a two-week leave -- and the couple has two young children.

Haley, despite being hailed as an up-and-coming Republican during the 2010 election, doesn't have great approval ratings and faces a re-match with state Sen. Vincent Sheheen, whom she beat by four points.
