President Obama will appear on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday, White House spokesman Jay Carney announced Wednesday.

Obama will hit three states on Tuesday, Carney said, talking about the middle class in both Arizona and Tennessee before traveling to Burbank, Calif. to tape an appearance on "The Tonight Show."
