Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) says in a new Q and A with Time magazine that, while he disagrees vehemently with President Obama's politics, he thinks Obama is a principled and "extraordinary politician" for whom he has great respect.
"I think Barack Obama is an extraordinary politician. And I respect Barack Obama a great deal. I think he is committed to his principles, which is rare in politics," Cruz said. "Now I also think, and please don’t leave this part out, that the principles he believes in are profoundly dangerous."
