President Obama will do a series of TV interviews with six outlets in advance of his speech Tuesday making the case for military action in Syria.
Obama will sit down with PBS, CNN, Fox News, ABC, CBS and NBC for interviews airing Monday night, according to White House officials.
Obama's speech is slated for Tuesday evening.
Secretary of State John Kerry is also pushing the case, speaking in France on Saturday.
A State Department official said Kerry also placed calls Saturday to top officials in the Arab League, Egypt, Mexico, Russia and Saudi Arabia, as well as the leader of the Syrian opposition forces, Ahmad Jarba.
