With the deadline for third-quarter fundraising reports having arrived, candidate numbers continued to pour in Tuesday. Here's what stood out:

* Liz Cheney (R) raised more than $1 million for her challenge against Sen. Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.). That's a healthy haul for a state where advertising isn't expensive.

* As we reported earlier, Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes (D) had an impressive quarter, bringing in $2.5 million and outraising Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R).

* Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) nearly doubled up on her GOP opponent, bringing in $1.35 million between July and September. By comparison, Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy's campaign brought in about $700,000.
