The White House said in a tweet early Tuesday afternoon that President Obama's appearance on the FunnyOrDie.com Web series "Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis" has made that Web site the top referrer to HealthCare.gov.
The humorous video was an attempt to reach a younger audience -- whose participation is crucial to making the Obamacare exchanges work -- and White House spokeswoman Tara McGuinness said it's working.

The video, which was posted Tuesday morning, already has 2.8 million views and has been a trending topic on Twitter.
According to the Sysomos social analytics platform, the video had been mentioned 30,000 times on Twitter as of 1 p.m. eastern. Few of those tweets, though -- about 1,400 -- also mentioned health care.
