The former House stenographer whose outburst on the House floor marked the vote to end the government shutdown in October has posted a video explaining herself.

Appearing with her husband, Dianne Reidy says that she didn't lose her mind.

"I did not have a breakdown," Reidy says, explaining the biblical motivations behind her actions.

She and her husband also argue that Reidy's words were added to the video of the House vote and that the comments made actually came when she was in the hall after being removed from the House floor.
