Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is joining the early-state procession.
Rubio will headline the Rockingham County, N.H., GOP's Freedom Founder's Dinner on May 9, according to two people with knowledge of his plans.
While many top potential 2016 presidential candidates already have been making the rounds in the early states, this is Rubio's first visit to one of them since shortly after the 2012 election, when he went to Iowa.
The news was first reported by the Union-Leader's John DiStaso.
Early polls once showed Rubio was a frontrunner in New Hampshire, but his numbers there took a significant hit after his push for comprehensive immigration reform.
