"Now Eich has been the target of a vicious character attack by gay activists who have forced him out of the company he has helped lead for years."
Eich gave $1,000 in support of Proposition 8 in 2008. After he took the helm of the company two weeks ago, a number of Mozilla employees took to social media to call for his ouster. Three members of Mozilla's board quit.
