Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) raised about $1.8 million during the first three months of the year, outpacing her leading Republican challenger by about $600,000.

Landrieu is fighting to keep her job in a battleground race that could head to a December runoff. Her main challenger is Rep. Bill Cassidy (R), who pulled in $1.2 million during the first quarter of the year. He ended the period with more than $5 million cash on hand. Landrieu has about $7.5 million in the bank.

Elsewhere, Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) was a productive fundraiser during the first three months of the year, bringing in about $2 million, his campaign said Monday. Udall has about $5.9 million in the bank for his reelection effort, which became tougher when Rep. Cory Gardner (R) jumped in and cleared the GOP field. Gardner has not yet released his first quarter totals.

As fundraising reports continue to pour in ahead of the April 15 reporting deadline, we'll keep you posted on the notable numbers here on Post Politics.
