Organizing for Action, a group that promotes President Obama's policy agenda, raised nearly $5.9 million during the first three months of the year, it announced Friday.

The group raised $5.88 million from nearly 125,000 donations. The average contribution to the group throughout its existence has been just under $39.

OFA is a nonprofit advocacy organization launched last year from the remainder of Obama's reelection campaign. The group raised $26 million in its first year.
