Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes (D) raised a whopping $4 million+ between April and June for her campaign to unseat Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R).

Her total outpaced McConnell's by nearly $1 million. He raised $3.1 million during the same period.

But McConnell still has more cash in his campaign account: $9.8 million to her $6.2 million.

To date, Grimes has raised more than $11 million.

Updated with McConnell's numbers at 3:23 p.m.
