If it's fall, it's parent-teacher conference time for every family. Even the first family.

The Obamas headed out of the White House to Sidwell Friends School in Washington Monday morning to attend parent-teacher conferences for their daughters Malia, 16, and Sasha, 13.

The president and first lady spent just under an hour at the school. The trip has become a fall tradition for the Obamas, whose daughters have attended the exclusive Quaker school since the family arrived in Washington.
