The Washington Post obtained a copy of an invitation that Mitt Romney sent out this week for his fourth annual policy summit in Park City, Utah, in June. Some donors reported receiving the invite hours after the 2012 GOP presidential nominee spoke in New York to a group of donors Friday about his interest in running again in 2016.

Spencer Zwick, Romney’s 2012 national finance chairman, said the three-day event will feature a mix of politicos, Wall Street titans, former government officials and entrepreneurs. Called the E2 Summit, it will take place June 11-13 at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City.

"It has been our experience that those who attended the Summit in years past left feeling inspired by the ideas that had been shared and discussions that had occurred," Romney writes in the invitation. "We will keep this gathering intimate, as to allow for open discussion throughout our time together."

A partially edited copy of the invitation is reproduced below:

It has been our experience that those who attended the Summit in years past left feeling inspired by the ideas that had been shared and discussions that had occurred.  Not least because the E2 Summit is one of the few gatherings in the country where the attendees are equally as impressive as the presenters.

The 2015 E2 Summit will once again provide an interesting platform for discussion among attendees and speakers. To that end, we will keep this gathering intimate, as to allow for open discussion throughout our time together.

The dates for the 2015 E2 Summit are June 11-13, 2015 and the Stein Eriksen Lodge will once again be our host.  Activities will begin the evening of Thursday, June 11th and conclude mid-day on Saturday, June 13th.

In addition to their contributions during the formal sessions, many of our presenters will once again lead activities throughout the Summit in the beautiful outdoors of Park City for those who wish to participate.

We would like you to have the opportunity to reserve a space for yourself for the 2015 E2 Summit by pre-registering now.

To pre-register and hold your spot, please do so before January 30, 2015, by clicking on the link to the registration form below, which also contains additional information on the E2 Summit, including information on lodging.

We look forward to seeing you in Park City.
