Former Florida governor Jeb Bush's intense fundraising drive ahead of a potential 2016 presidential bid hit New York today, where supporters were asked to shell out an astounding $100,000 each to attend an evening event at the Park Avenue home of private equity billionaire Henry Kravis.

But Bush's operation is not just aiming for the big dollars. His youngest son, 31-year-old Jeb Bush Jr., is headlining a reception for "young professionals" in Washington tonight to benefit the elder Bush's Right to Rise leadership PAC. The tickets for the event, being held at a Mexican restaurant in Dupont Circle, are a mere $50 a pop.

Among the hosts listed on the invitation is political strategist-restaurateur Fritz Brogan; management consultant Olga Arguello and Carlos Gutierrez Jr., the son of the George W. Bush Commerce secretary.
