Former Florida governor Jeb Bush — on a fundraising tear that has propelled him far ahead of his 2016 rivals — is already tapping into his new resources to shower money on GOP officials and state parties that will figure prominently in the GOP nomination process.

On Friday, his Right to Rise leadership PAC announced that  it had distributed $122,800 — including $10,000 apiece to the state parties in Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

Among the Republicans who received the maximum $5,200 donation from the PAC were Sens. Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, Richard Burr of North Carolina, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, Rob Portman of Ohio and Tim Scott of South Carolina.

A raft of House members also received donations, including newly elected Reps. Martha McSally of Arizona and Lee Zeldin of New York.
