Vice President Joe Biden is heading to South Carolina Wednesday -- his second trip to an early-voting state in the past two weeks.

Officially, he's there to discuss the importance of investing in infrastructure. Last week, he was talking education in Iowa.

In Des Moines, Biden told reporters that he was meeting with leaders in that state, but that he was not there on campaign business. He has previously indicated that, if he does choose to run, he will make an announcement sometime closer to summer.

“I’ve been here a lot, I have a lot of friends,” Biden told reporters. “I’m going to see some of my friends [who] are still in the legislature, and they’re here today. But no, I’m not doing any organization, if that’s what you mean.”

But keep an eye out for any upcoming trips to New Hampshire.
