The history books might not remember it, but this week marked a major moment for social media — the first time a sitting president documented a trip on Instagram.

Yes, President Obama is now just like us, sharing the selfies, landscapes and shots-from-the-window-seat that crowd your Instagram feed throughout the summer. He might not be the most adventurous user, but we’ll take it.
