Hylton junior quarterback Travon McMillian picked up an offer from Ole Miss on Thursday. That means more than it has in recent years. The Rebels landed a vaunted recruiting class for 2013, and they improved last season to 7-6 after going 2-10 in 2011.

Georgia Tech also offered McMillian this week.

Earlier this year, the 6-foot, 190-pound McMillian added Tennessee and Auburn offers to his growing list. He has said that he would like to have a shot at playing quarterback in college but that he would be open to another position.

McMillian threw for 1,326 yards and 12 touchdowns, with nine interceptions,  last season and ran for 1,242 yards and 16 scores.
