Briar Woods junior quarterback Trace McSorley continues to draw strong interest on the recruiting trail, adding offers from Old Dominion, Vanderbilt and Western Michigan in the past week.

McSorley now has eight offers, which include the likes of Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Boston College.

In leading the Falcons to their third straight Virginia AA Division 4 championship, the three-year starter threw for 2,548 yards and 33 touchdowns to go with 709 yards and nine scores on the ground. The 6-1, 175-pound signal caller and defensive back enters his senior season in Ashburn with a career 42-3 record as a starter, but should see stiffer competition as the Falcons move up to the Virginia High School League’s new Division 5 classification in the fall.
