Bullis junior forward Lynee` Belton, rated by ESPN as the 20th-best girls’ basketball prospect in the country for the class of 2014, has narrowed her list of possible colleges to 11, eight of whom already have offered scholarships to the 6-foot-2 second-team All-Met.

Belton’s mother, Lynett, declined to say which of the 11 have offered, but the schools that have not offered also have shown serious interest, she said.

The Beltons already have visited Notre Dame, Connecticut, Virginia and Maryland. The other schools on the list, many if not all of which they also will visit, are Miami, Princeton, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Louisville and Florida State.

Belton helped Bullis win the ISL AA tournament championship in February after tying Georgetown Visitation atop the league during the regular season. She averaged a team-high 14.2 points.
