Two days after releasing its all-state football teams for Classes 2A-5A, the Virginia High School League announced the 6A all-state team on Wednesday.

State champion Centreville leads the way with six players selected, two of whom garner spots at multiple positions. All-Met junior A.J. Turner was chosen as a running back and kick returner, while Charles Tutt was picked as a wide receiver and defensive back. Also representing the Wildcats are offensive linemen Josh Smith and Kainoa O’Connor and linebackers Tyler Love and Chad Wiggins.

Lake Braddock boasts three players on the all-state team in offensive lineman Reece Burnett, wide receiver A.J. Alexander and kicker Cory Huddleston.
