After Air Force and Bryant won the two play-in games Wednesday, the NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse tournament begins in earnest Saturday, and the rosters of the 16 teams vying for the title are loaded with former D.C. area stars. Only Albany and Bryant have no one from the area.
Here’s a list of area players remaining in the NCAA tournament and many of their accomplishments from high school and college:

Four-year letterwinner in lacrosse and three-year letterman in football for the Little Hoyas.

Under Armour and U.S. Lacrosse All-American for the Little Hoyas.
Jim Marlatt, River Hill
2014 Notre Dame captain was an Under Armour All-American at River Hill.
Henry Williams, Georgetown Prep
