This is it. Week 10 of the high school football season is here, and over the next 24 hours, the playoff picture will come into full focus.

Friday night features a loaded slate of matchups dripping with intrigue. Undefeated teams are squaring off. Conference titles are on the line. Playoff hopes will be quashed. As always, we're here to help you stay on top of all the action.

The AllMetSports team will have reporters in Millersville for a huge game between 9-0 Annapolis and 9-0 Old Mill; in Lorton, where once again Lake Braddock and South County meet with the Conference 7 title up for grabs; in North Bethesda for a clash between ranked IAC rivals Episcopal and Georgetown Prep; in Alexandria, where Hayfield and Madison will look to settle the Conference 6 hierarchy; in Arlington, where Washington-Lee hosts rival Yorktown with both teams needing a win to reach the postseason; in Indian Head for a critical SMAC game between Calvert and Lackey; in Woodbridge, where Hylton hosts Forest Park with a spot in the playoffs on the line; and in Olney, for a nationally televised dress rehearsal for next week's WCAC semifinal between No. 1 DeMatha and No. 18 Good Counsel.

There are 72 games in all Friday night, and we'll keep you appraised of all of them right here. So check back early and often for updates.
