McDonald’s released its list of more than 700 high school seniors nominated for the 2017 McDonald’s All-American games, scheduled for March 29 at the United Center in Chicago.

Thirteen boys and 29 girls from The Post’s coverage area in D.C., Maryland and Virginia were nominated to participate in the event. The final 24-player rosters for each team will be revealed on Jan. 15. Last year’s game featured DeMatha’s Markelle Fultz (now at Washington) and Paul VI’s VJ King (Louisville) on the boys’ team, and Riverdale Baptist’s Kaila Charles (Maryland) on the girls’ team.

The boys’ game will be the 40th in the event’s history and the girls’ game will be the 16th.

The nominations, listed below, feature a heavy presence of athletes from the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference and other private schools. The Gonzaga boys’ team has three representatives, including All-Met senior guard Chris Lykes, a Miami commit. The girls’ nominees include All-Mets Mykea Gray (National Christian), Lindsey Pulliam (Good Counsel), Octavia Wilson (Eleanor Roosevelt) and Abby Meyers (Whitman). The National Christian girls’ team has five nominees, while Elizabeth Seton has four and Oakton has three.
