This week’s rankings look much different from a week ago. Many teams dropped several spots, and others ascended the pack. Westfield’s 4-0 win over Fairfax means we have a new No. 1, and Severna Park’s 3-2 win over Glenelg means we have a new No. 2. Both St. Stephens/St.Agnes and Severna Park have had tough starts to the season, but remain in the rankings.
W.T. Woodson enters the rankings at the No. 9 spot with a big matchup against Fairfax on Thursday. While the Cavaliers have won seven of eight games to start the season, the Rebels had lost four in a row before picking up a 2-1 win over South County on Tuesday.
