Eric Allen Jr., Sr., Bullis
The Tennessee signee was dominant in his final high school indoor season for Bullis. He clocked the nation’s top time in the 200 meters (20.91 seconds at the University of Kentucky High School Invitational) and the second-best time in the 300 meters (32.84 at The VA Showcase), and he finished second in the 55-meter dash at the Millrose Games with a personal-best time of 6.36. Allen helped Bullis set a meet record at the Millrose Games in the 4×200 (1:27.16) and was part of the Bulldogs’ area-best 4×400 team that finished in 3:19.42 at the Dr. Sander Invitational.
Sam Affolder, Jr., Loudoun Valley
The cross-country athlete of the year clocked the area’s top time in the 1,600 meters (4:11.27) and later took home a Virginia state title. He was also state runner-up in the 1,000 (2:31.27) and anchored Loudoun Valley to a national high school record in the 4xMile (17:01.82) at the New Balance Nationals.
Decker Barborek, Sr., Fairfax
He was the area’s top pole vaulter, clearing 15 feet at the Patriot District championships. He also was the Virginia Class 6 state runner-up in the 500 meters.
Jabari Bennett, Sr., Washington-Lee
He broke the meet record to win the Virginia Class 6 shot put title (64 feet 6.5 inches) and cap an undefeated season.
Caden Billak, Sr., Centreville
He won district, region and state titles in the long jump, capping a stellar season with a personal-best mark (23 feet 10.25 inches) at the Virginia Class 6 state championships.
Colton Bogucki, Sr., Loudoun Valley
The Virginia recruit holds the top area time in the 1,000 meters (2:29.10) and helped Loudoun Valley to the Virginia Class 4 state team title with a second-place finish in the 1,600 (4:19.47) and a meet-record 4×800 relay finish. He was also part of the Vikings’ national record-setting 4xMile relay team.
Chauncey Chambers, Sr., R.E. Lee
The district, region and state champion in the triple jump finished with a personal-best 48-9.75 at the Virginia Class 5 state championship.
Ethan Fogle, Sr., Archbishop Carroll
He secured an area-best time in the 500 meters (1:05.31) in his first-place finish at the D.C. state championships. He also had one of the top area times in the 300 (34.61).
Joshua Prince Gilliard, Sr., Colgan
The United States Military Academy recruit posted personal- and area-best indoor marks in the high jump (6 feet 8 inches) at the Christopher Newport University High School Winter Frolic, and he capped the season with a Virginia state title.
Ryan Lockett, Sr., Poolesville
The Virginia-bound senior clocked the top area time in the 3,200 meters (9:22.37) and was among the top finishers in the 800 (1:57.29).
Donovan Louis, Sr., Potomac Senior High
The Virginia Tech signee’s area-best long jump (24-3.25) is among the best in the nation. He also ran a blazing 6.43-second 55 meters to win the Virginia Class 5 state title and helped Potomac to a state title and meet record in the 4×200.
Eldon Phillips, Sr., Northwood
He posted the best area time in the 800 (1:55.18) and claimed Maryland 4A region and state titles in the 500.
Brendon Stewart, Sr., DeMatha
He posted some of the nation’s fastest sprint times, tying for first at the Millrose Games in the 55-meter dash (6.34 seconds) and winning the 300 at The VA Showcase (33.86). He also helped DeMatha to a third-place finish in the 4×200 at the New Balance Nationals (1:27.55).
Daniel Whitfield, Sr., Wise
The senior holds the area’s fastest time in the 55-meter hurdles (7.34).

In his 25th season with the program, the veteran coach guided the Titans to a region title and Virginia Class 6 state runner-up finish. He oversaw many exceptional state performances in field, sprint and relay events, including the state title-winning 4×200 relay team.
