George Soros marries Tamiko Bolton: Third time’s the charm?

Married: George Soros, 83, and Tamiko Bolton, 42, Saturday in New York. The billionaire investor and education consultant wed at his Bedford, New York, estate. Judge Kimba Wood officiated at the small wedding attended by the groom’s five children and other family members. followed by a reception for 500 guests (World Bank president Jim Yong Kim, IMF’s Christine Lagarde and Bono) at a nearby arts complex, reports Reuters.

The couple met at a dinner party five years ago; their engagement was announced in August 2012. This is the third marriage for Soros (worth $20 billion, give or take a billion) and the second for Bolton. No pressure to find the perfect wedding present for the couple who has everything: In lieu of gifts, the newlyweds asked that donations be made to Global Witness, Harlem Children’s Zone, National Dance Institute, Planned Parenthood, and other charities.
