Brief news from here and elsewhere:

Whoa — Benedict Cumberbatch-as-Julian Assange bombed big time at the box office, as “The Fifth Estate” only raked in only 1.7 million during its opening weekend. (EW)

Kanye West’s Yeezus Tour is off to a rocky start. First, a two-hour delay at his first show in Seattle, followed by an abrupt cancellation of his Vancouver show on Sunday, mere hours before the concert was scheduled to start. The murky explanation? “Unforeseen circumstances.” (Vancouver Sun)

Things got awkward for “Boy Meets World” cast this weekend when two of the show’s stars (Danielle Fishel and Rider Strong) got married a day apart, in separate states. Which one do you pick? (Ben Savage went with Topanga, naturally.) (People)

Here’s one idea for a business adventure, post-NFL career: Open some gyms. Leigh Bodden of D.C. (who played for the Patriots, Browns, etc.) will open his first gym in Prince George’s County this year, reports Thomas Heath. (The Post)
